Ingredients

– 4 steaks (about 200g each)
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon salt
– ½ teaspoon black pepper
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme)
– 1 lemon (for juice)
– 4 cups mixed salad greens
– 1 cup cherry tomatoes

Method

1. First, take the steaks out of the fridge and allow them to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
2. Rub the olive oil on both sides of each steak. Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and fresh herbs for flavor.
3. Preheat the grill to high heat. Ideally, the grill should be very hot to sear the steaks.
4. Place the steaks on the grill. Cook each side for about 4-6 minutes depending on your preference for doneness.
5. Once cooked, let the steaks rest for 5 minutes. Squeeze lemon juice over them before serving alongside the salad greens and cherry tomatoes.
