Ingredients
– 1 whole turkey (about 5-6 kg)
– 60 ml olive oil
– 1 tablespoon salt
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 tablespoon garlic powder
– 1 tablespoon onion powder
– 1 tablespoon dried thyme
– 1 lemon, quartered
– 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
– 2 cups chicken broth
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
2. Rinse the turkey and pat it dry with paper towels.
3. Rub olive oil all over the turkey, then sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme on it.
4. Stuff the turkey with lemon quarters and fresh rosemary.
5. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth around it. Roast for about 2 to 2.5 hours, until it is fully cooked.
