Ingredients

250 g plain flour
125 g unsalted butter, chilled
1/2 tsp salt
60 ml cold water

Method

1. Combine the flour and salt in a large bowl.
2. Cut the chilled butter into small pieces and add it to the flour mixture.
3. Use your fingertips to rub the butter into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs.
4. Pour in the cold water gradually while mixing until the dough comes together.
5. Shape the dough into a disc, wrap it in plastic wrap, and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
