Ingredients

– 2 ribeye steaks (about 300g each)
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon pepper
– 1 tablespoon butter
– Fresh rosemary (optional)
– 2 cups of sides (like mashed potatoes or salad)
– 1 lemon (for garnish)

Method

1. First, take the ribeye steaks out of the fridge. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
2. Preheat a cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil when it’s hot.
3. Season the steaks on both sides using garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Place the steaks in the hot pan. Cook for about 4-6 minutes on each side, depending on how well done you like them.
5. After cooking, add butter and optional rosemary to the pan. Spoon melted butter over the steaks. Allow them to rest for 5 minutes before serving with lemon wedges.
