Pandan Bagel Recipe With Gula Melaka Coconut Spread Delight

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 tablespoon instant yeast
– 1 cup warm water
– 1 tablespoon pandan extract
– 2 tablespoons coconut cream
– 1 cup gula melaka, shredded
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Method

1. Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Stir well to mix all the dry ingredients.
2. Add the instant yeast, warm water, pandan extract, and coconut cream to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl. Cover it and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
5. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Shape the dough into bagels and make a hole in the middle. Brush each bagel with the beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds over them. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
