One-Pot Creamy Chicken And Mushroom Pasta: Easy Recipe Guide

Ingredients

– 350g pasta
– 500g chicken breasts, diced
– 200g mushrooms, sliced
– 1 onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 700ml chicken broth
– 200ml cream
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 50g grated cheese

Method

1. In a large pot, add a drizzle of oil and heat over medium heat. Cook the diced chicken until browned, then remove and set aside.
2. In the same pot, add the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms. Sauté until the onion is soft and the mushrooms have released their moisture.
3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute. Return the chicken to the pot and mix well.
4. Pour in the chicken broth, then add the pasta. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce heat to simmer. Cook for about 10 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
5. Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the cream, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and serve warm.
