No-Bake Vegan Date Chocolate Cake Recipe For Easy Indulgence

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of dates, pitted
  • 1 cup of walnuts
  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of shredded coconut (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Extra coconut for topping (if desired)

Method

  1. Soak the dates in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain them.
  2. In a food processor, blend the dates, walnuts, oats, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and salt until well mixed.
  3. Pour the mixture into a cake tin and press it down evenly.
  4. Sprinkle shredded coconut on top if you want, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  5. Once set, cut the cake into slices and enjoy!
