Ingredients
– 500g fresh chicken breast, cut into strips
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– 1 cup plain flour
– 2 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Cooking spray or olive oil
– Lemon wedges, for serving
Method
1. Start by preheating the air fryer to 200°C (about 400°F).
2. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs and another with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Coat each chicken strip first in flour, then dip it into the egg, and finally roll it in the breadcrumb mixture.
4. Arrange the coated strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with cooking spray or drizzle olive oil over them.
5. Cook the chicken strips for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden and crispy. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
