Mushroom Caldin Recipe: A Flavorful Goan Coconut Curry Delight

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green chili, slit
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and cook until they become soft.
  3. Stir in the garlic, ginger, and green chili and cook for a few more minutes.
  4. Mix in mushrooms, turmeric, and salt, then stir well.
  5. Pour in the coconut milk and simmer for about 10 minutes. Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
