Ingredients
6 large eggs
1 tablespoon salt
4 cups water
Ice cubes
Cold water
Method
Put the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan.
Add 4 cups of water and 1 tablespoon of salt.
Bring the water to a boil over medium heat.
Turn off the heat and cover the pan. Let the eggs sit for 12 minutes.
Submerge the eggs in ice water for 5-10 minutes before removing the shells.
