Ingredients
– 3 large onions
– 2 tablespoons of oil
– 1 teaspoon of salt
– 1 tablespoon of sugar
– 1/4 cup of water
Method
1. Peel and slice the onions into thin strips.
2. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced onions along with the salt and stir them well.
4. Sprinkle sugar over the onions and continue to cook, stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes.
5. Pour in the water and cook for another 10 minutes until the onions are a rich brown.
