Ingredients
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1/4 cup sugar
– 1 packet instant yeast (about 7g)
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup warm milk (about 45°C)
– 1/4 cup butter, melted
– 1 egg
– 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Method
1. Combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl. Mix well.
2. Whisk warm milk, melted butter, and egg together in another bowl. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients.
3. Knead dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it. Let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread lemon juice, zest, and blueberries evenly on top. Roll the dough into a log and slice into rounds.
5. Place rolls in a baking dish. Bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
