Ingredients
– 1 pizza base
– 200 ml crushed tomatoes
– 250 g mozzarella cheese, sliced
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tsp dried oregano
– Fresh basil leaves
– Salt to taste
– Pepper to taste
– 1 clove garlic, minced
– Balsamic glaze (optional)
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). Ensure it’s hot before baking the pizza.
2. Spread the crushed tomatoes evenly on the pizza base.
3. Add the mozzarella slices on top of the tomatoes.
4. Drizzle olive oil over the cheese and sprinkle with garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
5. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Top with fresh basil before serving.
