Kolkata-Style Chatpata Masala Chips Recipe: Flavorful Snack Delight

Ingredients

4 medium-sized potatoes
1 litre of oil (for frying)
2 teaspoons of chaat masala
1 teaspoon of red chili powder
1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
2 green chilies (sliced)
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

Method

Start by peeling the potatoes and slicing them into thin rounds.
Heat the oil in a deep pan over medium heat for frying.
Once the oil is hot, add the potato slices in small batches and fry until they become golden and crispy.
Remove the chips from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Sprinkle the spices and lemon juice on the chips while they are still warm. Toss gently, and garnish with fresh coriander and sliced green chilies.
