Ingredients
- 1 cup gram flour
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 cups water (for the kadhi)
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Chopped coriander leaves for garnish
Method
- Mix the gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Add water gradually to form a thick batter.
- Heat oil in a pan and drop spoonfuls of the batter to make fritters. Cook until golden brown.
- In another pan, whisk yogurt with 2 cups of water, then add cumin seeds and bring to a boil.
- Add the fritters to the curry, let them cook for a few minutes, and garnish with coriander leaves.
