Kadhi Pakora Recipe: Delicious Gram Flour Fritters For You

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 cups water (for the kadhi)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Method

  1. Mix the gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add water gradually to form a thick batter.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and drop spoonfuls of the batter to make fritters. Cook until golden brown.
  4. In another pan, whisk yogurt with 2 cups of water, then add cumin seeds and bring to a boil.
  5. Add the fritters to the curry, let them cook for a few minutes, and garnish with coriander leaves.
