Ingredients
– 1 small kabocha squash
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 clove garlic
– 250 ml cream
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 2 cups pizza dough
– 200 g cheese
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– Fresh basil leaves
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
2. Cut the kabocha squash into small pieces and toss them in olive oil. Roast for about 20 minutes until tender.
3. In a pan, sauté minced garlic for a minute. Add cream, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for a few minutes until it thickens.
4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface. Spread the garlic cream over the dough evenly.
5. Top with roasted squash and cheese. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until the crust is golden. Add fresh basil before serving.
