Ingredients
1. 1.5 kg turkey breast
2. 250 ml chicken broth
3. 2 cloves garlic, minced
4. 1 tablespoon olive oil
5. 2 teaspoons dried thyme
6. 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
7. 1 teaspoon salt
8. ½ teaspoon black pepper
9. 1 tablespoon cornflour
10. 60 ml water
Method
1. Start by rubbing the turkey breast with olive oil. This helps the seasonings stick better.
2. Mix the garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Rub this mixture all over the turkey.
3. Pour the chicken broth into the slow cooker. Place the turkey breast in the broth.
4. Cover the slow cooker with a lid. Cook on low for about 6 to 8 hours or until the turkey reaches 74 degrees Celsius.
5. Remove the turkey from the cooker and let it rest. Mix cornflour with water in a small bowl and add to the broth for a thicker sauce.
