Method
- Start by letting the ice cream soften at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix the softened ice cream, egg, milk, and vanilla extract until you have a smooth batter.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and melt the butter in the pan.
- Dip each slice of bread into the batter, coating both sides, then place them in the skillet.
- Cook until golden brown for about 2-3 minutes on each side. Serve warm with maple syrup, powdered sugar, and fresh berries if desired.
