Ingredients
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 10 g baking powder
- 5 g salt
- 50 g unsalted butter
- 200 ml milk
- 100 g sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
- Measure 500 g of flour using a scoop and level technique. Make sure not to pack it down.
- Add 10 g of baking powder and 5 g of salt to the flour. Mix these dry ingredients together.
- Melt 50 g of butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Once melted, let it cool for a minute.
- In a separate bowl, combine 200 ml of milk, 100 g of sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir well until everything is combined but do not over mix.
