Ingredients
– 1 cup couscous
– 1 cup water
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 0.5 teaspoon salt
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
– 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Method
1. Boil the water in a saucepan and add salt.
2. Once boiling, add the couscous and olive oil. Stir briefly.
3. Remove the pot from heat. Cover it with a lid and let it sit for 5 minutes.
4. After 5 minutes, fluff the couscous with a fork.
5. Stir in lemon juice, parsley, and garlic powder if using. Serve warm.
