Ingredients
4 thick-cut New York strip steaks (about 2.5 cm thick)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
250 ml beef broth
250 ml water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tablespoon butter
Method
1. Start by preheating your grill to high heat. Make sure it’s nice and hot before cooking the steaks.
2. Rub olive oil, salt, and pepper all over the steaks. This helps to enhance the flavor and create a nice crust.
3. Place the steaks on the hot grill for about 4 minutes on one side. Use tongs to flip them over and grill for another 4 minutes for medium-rare.
4. In a saucepan, mix beef broth, water, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and rosemary. Heat this mixture over medium heat until bubbling.
5. After grilling, place the steaks on a plate. Pour the sauce over the steaks and finish with a pat of butter. Serve hot.
