Ingredients
- 240 ml milk
- 75 g unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 100 g sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 100 g brown sugar
- 50 g chopped pecans (optional)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a muffin tin.
- Combine milk, melted butter, and egg in a bowl. Stir until mixed.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt together.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.Â
- Fill the muffin cups and sprinkle brown sugar and nuts on top. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden.
