Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
125 g melted butter
200 g sugar
1 large egg
5 ml vanilla extract
190 g all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
100 g chopped nuts (optional)
Method
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Grease a loaf pan with some butter.
Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth. Stir in the melted butter.
Mix in sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the banana mixture.
Fold in chopped nuts if using. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for about 60 minutes.
