Ingredients
– 2 cups of all-purpose flour
– 1 cup of sugar
– 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1 teaspoon of baking soda
– 1/4 teaspoon of salt
– 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
– 1 cup of milk
– 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
– 1 cup of boiling water
– 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake pan.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. Add the vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until well combined.
4. Gradually pour in the boiling water and mix until the batter is smooth. Then, fold in the chocolate chips.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
