Ingredients
- 2 cups uncooked pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 400 g canned diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Method
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add the diced bell pepper to the pan. Stir and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Mix in the canned tomatoes and spices. Allow the mixture to simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine pasta with the sauce, stirring well. Top with shredded cheese, then cover until melted.
