Ingredients
– 300 g fresh spinach
– 150 g feta cheese
– 1 cup plain flour
– ½ cup water
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1 clove garlic, minced
– 1 egg
– Optional: sesame seeds for topping
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (around 400°F).
2. Rinse the spinach well and chop it. Then place it in a bowl with crumbled feta cheese, minced garlic, and a bit of salt.
3. In a separate bowl, mix plain flour, baking powder, and olive oil. Add water gradually until it forms a dough.
4. Roll out the dough into flatbread shapes. Place the spinach and feta mixture in the center of each. Fold and seal edges.
5. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
