Caramel Apple Skillet Pie

Ingredients

– 4 cups of sliced apples
– 1 cup of caramel sauce
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
– 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
– 1 cup of brown sugar
– 2 cups of ready-made pie crust
– 1/4 cup of butter
– Whipped cream, for serving

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease a skillet with a little butter.
2. Mix sliced apples, caramel sauce, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar in a large bowl until everything is well combined.
3. Place one portion of the pie crust into the greased skillet. Press it down gently and let the edges hang over the sides.
4. Pour the apple mixture into the skillet over the crust. Fold the edges of the crust over the apples slightly.
5. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Let it cool slightly before serving with whipped cream.
