Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh curry leaves
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, cooking until the mustard seeds start to pop.
  3. Stir in grated ginger, black pepper, and salt. Cook for about a minute.
  4. Mix in the cooked rice and stir until it’s well coated with the spices.
  5. Finish by adding lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves. Serve warm.
