Ingredients

– 4 salmon fillets (about 150g each)
– 60 ml soy sauce
– 60 ml honey
– 30 ml rice vinegar
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon grated ginger
– 1 teaspoon sesame oil
– 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
– 2 spring onions, sliced
– Salt and pepper to taste

Method

1. Begin by mixing the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl.
2. Add salmon fillets to the bowl and coat them in the marinade. Let them sit for about 15 minutes to soak up the flavors.
3. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C. Once warmed up, place the marinated salmon fillets in the basket.
4. Air fry the salmon for 10 to 12 minutes until cooked through. Brush with any remaining marinade halfway through cooking for extra flavor.
5. Once ready, sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced spring onions on top before serving. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
