– 50 g seeds (e.g., sunflower or sesame) (optional)
– Extra flour for dusting
– Extra olive oil for greasing
Method
1. Combine flour, salt, instant yeast, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Stir well to mix the dry ingredients.
2. Pour warm water, honey, and olive oil into the dry mixture. Using a wooden spoon, stir until a dough forms.
3. Transfer the dough onto a clean, floured surface. Knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Grease a bowl with olive oil. Place the dough inside, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
5. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased baking tin. If using seeds, sprinkle them on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
