Ingredients
– 500 g (4 cups) all-purpose flour
– 10 g (2 teaspoons) salt
– 7 g (1 packet) instant yeast
– 30 ml (2 tablespoons) sugar
– 300 ml (1 ¼ cups) warm water
– 30 ml (2 tablespoons) vegetable oil
Method
1. Combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large mixing bowl.
2. Pour in warm water and vegetable oil. Mix until you have a soft dough.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it is smooth.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl. Cover with a cloth and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Shape the risen dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 30-35 minutes.
