Ingredients
– 2 cups raw cashews
– 1 to 2 tablespoons neutral oil
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 to 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
Method
1. Place the cashews in a food processor.
2. Blend the nuts for about 8 to 10 minutes until smooth. Scrape down the sides as needed.
3. Add the neutral oil and salt to the mixture. Continue blending until creamy.
4. If you like a sweeter taste, mix in honey or maple syrup. Blend again.
5. Transfer the cashew butter into a jar and store in the fridge.
