Easy Homemade Arrabbiata Sauce Recipe – Bold And Flavorful!

Ingredients

– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
– 800g canned diced tomatoes (2 cans)
– 1 tablespoon tomato paste
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
– 400g pasta of choice

Method

1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
2. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the pan, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain it once done.
5. Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
