Ingredients
- 2 cups raw almonds
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Spread the almonds on a baking tray and roast for about 10-12 minutes until they are lightly golden. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
- Let the almonds cool for a few minutes, then transfer them to a food processor.
- Blend the almonds on high speed for about 10 minutes. Pause occasionally to scrape down the sides.
- Add honey, salt, and coconut oil during the last few minutes of blending, then mix until everything is smooth and creamy.
