Ingredients
– 500 g ground beef
– 1 medium onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 can (400 g) diced tomatoes
– 1 can (400 g) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 tablespoon chili powder
– 1 teaspoon ground cumin
– 1 cup beef broth
– Salt, to taste
– Pepper, to taste
Method
1. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until brown.
2. Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes until the onion softens.
3. Mix in the diced tomatoes and red kidney beans.
4. Add the chili powder, ground cumin, beef broth, salt, and pepper.
5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat. Let it simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
