Ingredients
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of butter, softened
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
- Colored icing for decoration
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until it is light and fluffy.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract, mixing well to combine.
- Gradually add the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, mixing until a dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking tray. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are firm. Allow to cool then decorate with icing.
