Easy Eggless Chocolate Peppermint Layer Cake Recipe To Try

Ingredients

– 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1 tsp baking soda
– ½ tsp salt
– 1 cup water
– ⅓ cup vegetable oil
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1 tsp peppermint extract
– 1 cup vegan chocolate frosting

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. Pour in the water, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract. Mix until the batter is smooth.
4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center.
5. Let the cake cool. Once cooled, spread the vegan chocolate frosting on top and decorate as desired.
