Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup plain flour
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Flatten each chicken breast slightly using a meat mallet.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and another with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan and Italian seasoning.
- Dip each chicken breast in flour, then eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a pan, cook the chicken until golden, then place it in a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the top and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake for 20 minutes.
