Ingredients

  • 1 can of biscuits (around 340 grams)
  • 1 cup of cooking oil
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Extra powdered sugar (for dusting)

Method

  1. Start by heating the cooking oil in a deep pan or pot over medium heat.
  2. Open the biscuit can and separate the biscuits, then use a small round cutter to make holes in the center of each biscuit.
  3. Carefully place the doughnuts in the hot oil, cooking for about 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Once cooked, remove them from the oil and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  5. Mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract, milk, and a pinch of salt in a bowl, then dip the warm doughnuts into the glaze or sprinkle them with extra powdered sugar.
