Easy Canned Biscuit Cream Cheese Danishes Recipe For Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1 can of canned biscuits
  • 250 ml cream cheese, softened
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Cinnamon sugar (optional, for sprinkling)
  • 1/2 cup fruit preserves (like raspberry or strawberry)
  • Flour, for dusting
  • Cooking spray or butter, for greasing

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Get a baking sheet ready by greasing it with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Dust a clean surface with flour. Take the biscuits out of the can and flatten each one into a round shape.
  3. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice in a bowl until smooth. Spoon some of this mixture onto the center of each biscuit.
  4. Add a spoon of fruit preserves on top of the cream cheese mixture. Fold the biscuit over to make a pocket, sealing the edges with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops with a beaten egg. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar if desired. Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
