Ingredients
– 2 cups of rice
– 4 cups of water
– 1 tablespoon of olive oil
– 1 onion, chopped
– 2 carrots, diced
– 2 cups of mixed vegetables
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
– Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
2. Boil water in a pot and add the rice, cooking for about 15 minutes until done.
3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Stir in onion and cook until soft.
4. Add the carrots, mixed vegetables, and garlic. Sauté until the veggies are tender.
5. Stir in the cooked rice, soy sauce, sesame seeds, and season with salt and pepper. Cook until heated through.
