Ingredients
200 g butter
200 g dark chocolate
1 cup sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup plain flour
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Method
Start by preheating the oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish and line it with baking paper.
Melt the butter and dark chocolate together in a bowl over simmering water. Stir until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs together until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the egg mixture. Gently fold in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Finally, stir in the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
