Ingredients
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup grated cheese
1/2 cup chopped green onions
Method
Preheat your oven to 200°C. Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
Mix the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
Beat the eggs and combine them with milk and vegetable oil in a separate bowl.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until everything is just combined.
Fold in the cheese and green onions, then pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top.
