Roasted Green Beans
Ingredients
800 g fresh green beans, trimmed
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Lemon wedges for serving
Method
Preheat your oven to 220°C.
Spread the green beans evenly on a large baking sheet.
Drizzle olive oil over the beans, then sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
Toss the beans to coat them well. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until they are tender and slightly crispy.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top if desired. Serve warm with lemon wedges.
