Ingredients
120g unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 cup caramel sauce
Method
Preheat your oven to 180°C. Prepare a baking tray by lining it with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar together until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing well.
In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until it forms a dough.
Fold in the finely chopped walnuts. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared tray.
Bake for about 12–15 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden. Cool them, then sandwich two cookies together with caramel sauce and sweetened condensed milk.
