Method
1. Start by lining a baking dish with parchment paper.
2. Combine brown sugar, coconut oil, almond milk, vanilla extract, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat.
3. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil. Keep boiling for about 5 minutes without stirring.
4. Pour the hot toffee into the prepared baking dish. Let it cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
5. Once the chocolate has melted, spread it evenly and add chopped nuts. If desired, sprinkle with sea salt and let it set in the fridge for about an hour before cutting into pieces.
