Ingredients
- 1 cup of lentils, cooked
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 celery stalk, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of Italian herbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. In a large bowl, mix the cooked lentils, chopped onion, grated carrot, chopped celery, and minced garlic.
3. Add breadcrumbs, tomato paste, soy sauce, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Stir until well combined.
4. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and press it down firmly.
5. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is slightly browned.
