Delicious Vazhathandu Poriyal Recipe: South Indian Banana Stem Curry

Ingredients
1 cup banana stem, finely chopped
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon urad dal
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon grated coconut
2 green chilies, chopped
½ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons water

Method
Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add mustard seeds and let them crackle.
Mix in urad dal, turmeric powder, and green chilies, cooking for a minute.
Stir in the chopped banana stem, salt, and water.
Cover the pan and let it cook for about 10 minutes until the banana stem is tender.
