Ingredients
– 500 ml milk
– 10 g instant yeast
– 1/4 cup sugar
– 1/2 cup chia seeds
– 1/3 cup vegetable oil
– 2 cups plain flour
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/2 cup water
– 1 egg
Method
1. Warm the milk in a pot until it’s just hot, then remove it from heat.
2. Mix the yeast and sugar into the warm milk and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it bubbles.
3. In a large bowl, combine the chia seeds, vegetable oil, flour, salt, and vanilla extract.
4. Add the milk mixture and water to the dry ingredients, then mix until smooth. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes.
5. Divide dough into smaller pieces, shape them into buns, and let them rise for 30 minutes before baking at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
