Ingredients
– 2 cups cooked turkey, chopped
– 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
– 1/3 cup butter
– 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
– 1 cup milk
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 ready-made pie crust
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
3. Stir in the flour and cook for one minute.
4. Gradually add chicken broth and milk, stirring until the mixture thickens.
5. Add turkey, mixed vegetables, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Pour this filling into a pie crust and top with a second crust. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
